Introduction:
Dr. Tao Yu is the Distinguished Professor and doctorial supervisor in the school of Environmental Engineering and Science at Yangzhou University. His current research interests lie in the areas of water environmental chemistry, the quality evolution in a regional water environment and transformation and risk assessment of nutrients and heavy metals in water environment. Dr. Tao Yu has presided over numerous scientific research projects such as the General Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, State Key Laboratory project, a sub-project of national science and technology major projects on water pollution control and treatment, Australia China Environment Development Program, the 10th Five Years Key Programs for Science and Technology Development of China, etc. He has published more than 20 high-level academic papers such as Environmental Science & Technology, Environmental Pollution, Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety, etc.
