Introduction:
Dr Dan Chen’s research area is covering air pollution control, environment catalysis. In my work, I combine in situ characterization, such as GC, MS, FT-IR methods, with computational approaches to promote the understanding of charge and mass transport in catalysts and the underlying structure-property correlations. Analyzing structural prerequisites for efficient conversion opens a way for a systematic design of novel materials with activity and stabilities for applications in air pollution control.
