Introduction:

Yiqun Xu, a PhD, associate Prof. and master tutor, visiting scholar at Florida International University and Southeast Environmental Research Center. He is mainly responsible for teaching undergraduate courses such as Environmental science, Environmental impact assessment, Environmental biology, Environmental toxicology, Environmental management, and Environmental economics. Recently, he is mainly engaged in the rehabilitation and treatment of contaminated soil, the migration and transformation of heavy metals, ecological restoration, water resources and water environment planning, river restoration, environmental impact assessment, environmental monitoring and analysis, etc.

Education:

Graduated from the Environmental Protection Department of Jiangxi Agricultural University in 1997, graduated from the Environmental Engineering Department of Southwest University with a master's degree in engineering in 2004; graduated from Nanjing Agricultural University with a Ph.D in 2010. From August 2012 to February 2013, as a visiting scholar, he conducted research at Florida International University and Southeast Environmental Research Center.

Achievements in scientific research:

In recent years, he has published more than 20 scientific papers as the first author or corresponding author. Lead or participated in a number of national, provincial and ministerial projects and other projects. Scientific research projects involve the migration and transformation of heavy metals, the utilization of solid waste, environmental impact assessment, water environment planning, ecological restoration, soil heavy metal pollution restoration, and environmental monitoring, etc.
