Undergraduate training program

Training objectives

This major prepares students to master basic knowledge in environmental natural science, environmental technology science and environmental humanities and social sciences. Students possess basic theories and basic skills of environmental science, and can work in the environmental protection and related fields in the government, enterprises and scientific research units and continue their further studies.

Training standards

The students of this major mainly study the basic theory and basic knowledge of environmental science, accept the basic training of environmental science professional skills, and have the quality and ability to systematically identify, analyze and solve environmental problems.

Graduates should acquire the following knowledge and abilities:

1. Understand the theoretical frontiers of environmental natural science, environmental technology science and environmental humanities and social sciences;

2. Master the basic theories and basic knowledge of the comprehensive and solid environmental science major;

3. Master the basic skills of environmental science professional experiment;

4. Possess the quality of using multidisciplinary knowledge to discover, analyze and solve environmental problems;

5. Have certain scientific research and practical work ability, and have certain innovative thinking ability.
